Key Job Function:
This Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead development on through to closing new business, then managing existing accounts in order to generate follow-on business. The Senior Account Executive is the relationship owner and is supported by pre-sales and technical resources in order to meet customer needs and achieve revenue objectives.
Generate, qualify, develop, and close mid to large banking opportunities
Perform, lead, and facilitate onsite and remote system demonstrations
Understand and convey complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
Develop account penetration strategies to achieve personal quota for assigned territory and/or sector
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Manage accounts following sales closure for expanded sales opportunities
Fully utilize internal CRM to effectively plan, track, monitor and report sales activities (SalesForce)
Bachelor’s Degree in a business or related field,
Minimum of 7 years of recent B2B software and analytics sales success in banking/financial services
Financial Services knowledge required, with fraud detection and risk management being a plus
Subject matter expertise (advanced analytics) relevant to Information Management and data analysis solutions
Proven track record of expanding revenues through establishing new accounts and working existing accounts
Demonstrated ability to manage complex and extended sales cycles
Confidence with negotiation of commercial proposals and contracts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to large and small groups including C-level audiences
Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, self-motivated, and work well on their own
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage business expectations
30% plus travel throughout the northeastern US with occastional trips abroad
